How to Measure Your Dog:

Length - base of neck (1" in front of the withers) to tail base

Girth - largest chest circumference behind front legs

The Dashing Dachshunds Line is designed specifically for Dachshunds, miniature to standard. The shape also fits other breeds that have a rounded body with no tuck, and, have broad chests.

Miniature puppies aged four to six months wear size Petite/XXS. Miniatures aged 6-9 months typically wear an XS. Full grown minitatures and in-betweenies wear XS (very small) through M. Standards wear sizes L and XL.

Dachshund chests can be 3-4 inches longer than their lengths. If your dog is in between sizes, or very large or small chested, please write the chest size in the comments section of your order, and we will help you figure out the right size for your dog.
